Position Summary

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) – Surgical Wound Care is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding clinical adoption of Cellution Biologics’ regenerative surgical wound care portfolio within an assigned territory. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director – Surgical Wound Care, this field-based role focuses on developing strategic relationships with surgeons, wound care specialists, hospital systems, and key clinical stakeholders to accelerate product utilization and market penetration across hospital-based surgical and wound care settings. The Territory Sales Manager is accountable for territory revenue performance, pipeline development, account expansion, and disciplined execution of the company’s commercial strategy. This role requires a highly motivated sales professional with experience in biologics, regenerative medicine, advanced wound care, or medical devices, along with the ability to navigate complex hospital procurement processes, clinical workflows, and reimbursement considerations. Success in this role requires strong consultative selling capabilities, clinical credibility, and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributors, healthcare professionals, and internal cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable growth and exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Territory Sales Execution

  • Achieve or exceed assigned territory sales targets, revenue goals, and key performance metrics aligned with company commercial objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan focused on market expansion, account penetration, and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through disciplined territory management and CRM utilization.

Account Development & Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with surgeons, wound care specialists, hospital administrators, purchasing leaders, and clinical staff.
  • Identify key decision-makers and influencers within hospitals, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and surgical centers to support product adoption and contract execution.
  • Develop strategic account plans to drive product utilization and expand share of wallet within existing accounts.

Clinical & Product Education

  • Deliver effective product and clinical education to physicians, surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff on the appropriate use and benefits of Cellution Biologics’ surgical wound care portfolio.
  • Conduct in-service training sessions, product demonstrations, and educational programs within hospital and clinical settings.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of surgical wound care, regenerative biologics, and relevant disease states to support credible clinical conversations.

Hospital Access & Market Development

  • Navigate hospital procurement processes including materials management, value analysis committees, and purchasing departments to facilitate product adoption.
  • Support product evaluations, clinical trials, and pilot programs designed to demonstrate product value and clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with leadership on IDN, GPO, and hospital contracting initiatives when applicable.

Distributor & Channel Collaboration

  • Partner with distributor representatives and channel partners to maximize territory coverage and account engagement.
  • Align distributor activities with company sales strategy, pricing policies, and performance expectations.
  • Monitor distributor performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and territory effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Regional Sales Directors, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Sales Operations, and Market Access teams to support commercial execution.
  • Provide field intelligence on competitive activity, market trends, reimbursement dynamics, and customer insights.
  • Participate in national and regional sales meetings, training programs, and industry conferences.

Sales Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities within the company’s CRM system.
  • Manage territory travel and operating expenses responsibly and within company guidelines.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, FDA regulations, and applicable healthcare compliance standards.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of outside sales experience in medical device, biologics, regenerative medicine, or advanced wound care markets.
  • Experience selling into hospital systems, wound care centers, surgical departments, HOPDs, or ambulatory surgery centers strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding territory sales quotas in competitive healthcare markets.
  • Experience working with hospital procurement teams, materials management, and clinical decision-makers preferred.
  • Prior experience working with distributors or hybrid go-to-market models is advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. reimbursement pathways including Medicare and commercial payors is beneficial.
  • Experience supporting new product launches or market development initiatives is a plus.

  • Ability to leverage CRM tools, sales analytics, and performance metrics to guide territory strategy and prioritization.

Communication & Presentation

  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to engage both clinical and administrative audiences.

Collaboration

  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams including marketing, clinical affairs, reimbursement, and commercial leadership.

Adaptability

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented biotech or medical device environment and adapts quickly to evolving market dynamics.

Work Environment

  • This is a field-based role operating within an assigned U.S. sales territory.
  • The position requires frequent engagement with physicians, healthcare providers, and internal commercial teams.
  • 70–90% travel required, including customer visits, industry conferences, national sales meetings, and travel to corporate headquarters. Travel primarily within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
