  • Preserved HC-HA/PTX3 Complex: HC-HA/PTX3 is a key component that may be responsible for therapeutic benefits of amniotic membrane. It drives Optiplast’s anti inflammatory, anti-scarring, anti-angiogenic, and regenerative benefits.
  • Retention of Key Growth Factors: Maintains native tissue structure through cryopreservation, preserving critical bioactive molecules like EGF, KGF, HGF, and bFGF.
  • Intended Use: Intended for use as a covering or barrier applied to the ocular surface, providing protective coverage from the surrounding environment following repair or reconstructive procedures.
  • Aseptic processing: The membrane is aseptically processed to ensure safety and quality.
  • Immune Modulation: Promotes a shift from M1 (pro-inflammatory) to M2 (pro-healing) macrophages.
  • Single-Use Product: For single use only by a qualified medical professional.

Handling & Storage

  • OptiPlast allograft is packed along with nitrocellulose membrane placed in a labelled primary aluminium polyester pouch containing solution of 1:1, v/v Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM)/Glycerol, ofloxacin (20 μg/ml) and Amphotericin B(1.25 μg/ml).
  • Temperature: -80°C to 4°C (-112°F → 39.2°F)
  • Shelf life: Within the expiration date printed on product packaging.
